Our Story

San Jorge Cigars was born from heritage, resilience, and the quiet strength passed down through generations.

Our story begins long before the first cigar was ever rolled — with two lives shaped by work, sacrifice, and perseverance.

My mother grew up working the tobacco fields of Cuba, learning from an early age the patience, discipline, and respect required to cultivate tobacco properly. Those early years instilled in her a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and tradition — values that continue to guide everything we create.

My father’s story began in Uruguay, where by the age of ten, he was already working the streets to help support his family. Life demanded responsibility early, and he learned resilience, resourcefulness, and determination long before most children understand their meaning. During those years, he was gifted a small San Jorge (Saint George) statue, a symbol of protection, strength, and perseverance that stayed with him through life.

Later, as he made his way to New York, chasing opportunity through hard work and sacrifice, that symbol remained close. He eventually had a San Jorge medallion made, wearing it as a reminder of where he came from — and of the strength required to move forward. That same medallion is worn by me today as a reminder of the journey that shaped our family.

San Jorge Cigars was created to honor those stories — the long days, the early mornings, and the belief that hard work, patience, and integrity matter. It reflects the blending of cultures and paths that define our roots: Cuba, Uruguay, and the United States.

Our cigars are modern Cuban–inspired expressions, crafted with respect for tradition and attention to detail. Every blend is developed slowly and intentionally, balancing depth, character, and refinement.

San Jorge is not about excess or trend. It is about legacy. About discipline. About honoring where you come from — and the work it takes to build what comes next.

Rooted in legacy. Built with purpose.
